I was so pleased with this venue. Our family held our family funeral and Repass. The venue is beautiful and the staff Amazing. The older lady at the desk went above and beyond. It’s a beautiful place for any event. 5 Stars

So I returned to Smoke Rise to see the improvements after new hires at the Club. Its been 4yrs since I last played. You can see change coming since the last time, and I know its only been about a year since the changes. Still the course has a long way to go. Hopefully, more attention to the small details will work out. Cannot rate this course highly just for the fact that the Par 5s are not good scoring holes. I wish the new staff good luck with the future improvements, and don't forget to stock your proshop. It is a good revenue maker.

The premier private country club on the east side of Atlanta. The hospitality and warm welcoming presence is genuine. This is golf country!

Played here yesterday 4/27/25. The course conditions are not favorable at all, and that's me being very, very kind. 15 out of 18 tee boxes were completely sand or just hard dirt. The vast majority of the course where washout can occur, has. Every single bunker was a pool of water. It did rain recently but certainly not enough to cause this in the bunkers. This is from neglect over a long period of time. I bet you cannot find a can of green spray paint in DeKalb county right now. It's all been used on these greens! While the majority of the greens were oddly well maintained, they were painted on the fringe. I feel a little bad for the local graffiti artists. How is somebody supposed to paint a ninja turtle on a bridge these days!? Our tee time was around 11am. We arrived early to loosen up on the range. Only problem was, there were no range balls available. None. We were informed there were only 2 people working that day (a lady and a guy, both very nice) but they would have some range balls in about 20 minutes. In roughly that amount of time, they brought us about 20 per person (2 of us). It is astoundingly obvious this place is headed for bankruptcy. The pro shop is completely

A very nice golf course. The fairways and greens are in good condition. I was not happy about the signage on the golf course. Better directional signs would be good. We also encountered a group of people actually practicing on the course. They had 20 or so golf balls and they were hitiing shots about 130 yards out from the fairway to the green. They didn't even move when we approached the tee box. They were also putting on the green of another hole and practicing chips shots all while we were on the green.
